The SMD2921-090N Gas Discharge Tube (GDT) from RUILON is a compact and high-reliability surge protection component designed to protect sensitive electronic circuits from lightning strikes, transient overvoltage, and electrostatic discharge. With a nominal DC spark-over voltage of 90V (tested at 100V/µs), it provides fast and precise response to surge events, ensuring effective diversion of high-energy transients away from critical circuitry.

Built using advanced ceramic gas discharge technology, the SMD2921-090N offers stable impulse spark-over performance (1kV/µs), high insulation resistance, and low capacitance at 1 MHz, making it ideal for high-speed data and communication lines with minimal signal distortion. It also features strong impulse discharge current capability (8/20µs waveform) and excellent impulse withstanding voltage capacity, ensuring long-term durability and consistent protection performance under repeated surge conditions.
