S18-L242B-2 2.2–3.7V PIR Motion Sensor Digital Output | Adjustable Delay 3–5M 80° PCB | SENBA

SENBA

The S18-L242B-2 from SENBA’s SMD-PCB Series is a compact and low-power PIR motion sensor designed for precise short-range human motion detection. Featuring high and low level digital output with adjustable delay functionality, this sensor allows designers to control output timing, making it ideal for applications requiring customized response duration.

Operating within a low voltage range of 2.2V to 3.7V, the S18-L242B-2 is optimized for battery-powered and portable devices. With ultra-low static current consumption of just 9.5µA, it ensures long battery life and energy-efficient operation. The sensor supports a detection range of 3 to 5 meters when paired with an SB-F-11 lens, providing reliable performance for close-range applications.

The focused 80° induction angle enables targeted detection, reducing false triggering from peripheral movement. Its large 6.6×6.6mm window size improves infrared signal reception, enhancing sensitivity and stability. The adjustable delay feature adds flexibility by allowing users to define how long the output remains active after motion is detected.

Compared to standard PIR sensors, the S18-L242B-2 offers better control, improved efficiency, and optimized performance for compact PCB-based designs.
