S18-L232B-2 2.2–3.7V PIR Motion Sensor Digital Output | 3–5M 80° Low Power PCB Type | SENBA

SENBA

The S18-L232B-2 from SENBA’s SMD-PCB Series is a compact and energy-efficient PIR motion sensor designed for reliable short-range human motion detection. Featuring high and low level digital output, this sensor enables direct interfacing with microcontrollers and logic circuits, simplifying system design and reducing external component requirements.

Operating within a low voltage range of 2.2V to 3.7V, the S18-L232B-2 is optimized for battery-powered and portable applications. With an ultra-low static current consumption of just 9.5µA, it ensures extended battery life and efficient energy usage. The sensor provides a detection range of 3 to 5 meters when paired with an SB-F-11 lens, making it ideal for close-range sensing applications.

With a focused induction angle of 80°, it delivers precise detection within a controlled area, reducing unwanted triggers outside the target zone. The larger window size of 6.6×6.6mm enhances infrared signal reception, improving detection sensitivity and stability.

Compared to wider-angle PIR sensors, the S18-L232B-2 offers more targeted detection, lower power consumption, and improved efficiency, making it a strong choice for compact and energy-conscious designs.
