The MEI3001 is a high-voltage Power Management IC featuring an asynchronous DC/DC step-down (buck) converter, designed for cost-sensitive and high-voltage applications.
It supports a 4.75V to 40V input voltage range and provides an adjustable output voltage from 1.2V to 5V using a 0.8V feedback reference.

Operating in PWM mode, the MEI3001 delivers up to 0.6A output current with excellent output accuracy of ±1.5%.
Its 550kHz switching frequency provides a good balance between efficiency, EMI, and external component size.
