LM393 – Dual Voltage Comparator (DIP8 / SOP8) ±1.5V – ±18V | Low Offset | Low Power Consumption | 0°C to +70°C | DIP8 / SOP8 Packages
HLF
The LM393 is a dual voltage comparator designed for low-power, high-precision voltage comparison applications. Each comparator operates independently and features open-collector outputs for easy interfacing with TTL or CMOS logic circuits.
Operating from a wide voltage range of ±1.5V to ±18V, the LM393 provides excellent input offset performance (<±5mV) and very low bias current (<250nA). Its low supply current of only 0.7mA makes it suitable for battery-powered and energy-efficient designs.
The LM393 is commonly used for voltage level detection, window comparison, and signal threshold sensing. Available in DIP8 and SOP8 packages, it supports both through-hole and surface-mount assembly.
