IP5355 | 22.5W USB Power Delivery (PD) IC
Description
The IP5355 is a highly integrated power management SoC designed for fast-charging mobile power banks and portable power applications. It supports a wide range of fast-charging protocols, including QC2.0/QC3.0/SCP, FCP/AFC, USB-C PD2.0/PD3.0, PD3.0 PPS, and BC1.2/Apple/Samsung charging standards.
By combining a synchronous buck-boost converter, lithium battery charging management, and battery power indication in a single package, the IP5355 delivers a complete high-efficiency power solution. It requires only one inductor for buck/boost operation and minimal external components, reducing PCB space and BOM cost.
The IC provides up to 22.5W (10V @ 2.25A) boost output, and 18W charging power with up to 5.0A charging current. Advanced protection and intelligent regulation features ensure safe and efficient operation.
