Description

The HT12D is a member of Holtek’s 212 series of decoder ICs, designed for remote control system applications. It is specifically paired with the corresponding 212 series encoders to form a complete encoder/decoder system.

The IC receives serial address and data signals transmitted via RF or IR medium and compares them continuously with the programmed local address. Once a valid transmission is confirmed, the data bits are decoded and output, and the VT (Valid Transmission) pin goes high to indicate a proper match.
