The HLF UC2842 (DIP8) is a high-performance current-mode PWM controller designed for use in off-line and DC-DC converter applications. It combines a precision 5V reference, high-gain error amplifier, oscillator, and high-current output stage to drive power MOSFETs or BJTs directly. The UC2842 provides excellent dynamic performance and protection features in a compact through-hole package.
