The HLF L293D (DIP16) is a dual full-bridge motor driver designed to drive inductive loads such as DC motors, stepper motors, and relays. Each channel can deliver up to 600mA continuous current and handle peak currents up to 1.2A per driver.
With built-in output clamping diodes for inductive load protection and TTL-compatible logic inputs, it simplifies motor control in microcontroller-based applications. The device can independently control two DC motors or one stepper motor, providing direction and enable control with high reliability.
