The HLF 74HC160 is a high-speed CMOS presettable synchronous BCD decade counter with an asynchronous master reset, designed for precision counting and timing applications. It counts from 0 to 9 (BCD format) and can be preset to any desired value through its parallel load inputs.
The device operates synchronously on the rising edge of the clock, ensuring accurate and stable counting, while the asynchronous reset clears the counter instantly, independent of the clock state.
