The GBU1008 is an 800V, 10A single-phase bridge rectifier diode supporting sustained 10A AC-to-DC conversion for offline PSUs, infrastructure grade PCB front-end rectier modules, industrial 800V AC blocking DC bus stages, transformer powered DC rails, and SMPS 10A input bridge front-ends demanding low conduction dissipation with inrush surge tolerance reliability. Using a 1.05V forward voltage architecture, it reduces conduction thermal rise for real-world 10A duty cycles. The 220A surge tolerance protects against transformer magnetization AC inrush peaks, bulk DC capacitor charge impulses, AC cycle peak stress forces and transient overload stress ensuring long-term reliability. Reverse leakage is limited to 10µA to reduce standby thermal dissipation ensuring improved long hall thermal stability. The inline GBU epoxy-molded 4-pin housing provides strong mechanical lead alignment, rigid PCB mount framing, vibration endurance, electrical durability, and excellent thermal conduction for long-duty conversion rails.
