The BL8531 is a low-power Power Management IC featuring an asynchronous DC/DC step-up (boost) converter with an internal MOSFET, designed for ultra-low-voltage battery applications.
It supports a 0.8V to 7.0V input voltage range and provides a fixed output voltage from 2.5V to 6.0V, selectable in 0.1V steps.
Operating in PFM mode, the BL8531 delivers up to 200mA output current with a very low quiescent current of 12µA and up to 85% efficiency, making it ideal for small battery-powered consumer products.
