The BL8028 is a high-efficiency synchronous DC/DC step-down (buck) converter with a built-in power MOSFET, designed for compact and battery-powered applications requiring low power consumption and stable output regulation.
It supports a wide 2.6V to 5.5V input voltage range and provides an adjustable output voltage via a 0.6V feedback reference.

Operating in PWM/PFM automatic switching mode, the BL8028 achieves up to 97% efficiency while maintaining an ultra-low 80µA quiescent current, making it ideal for portable and always-on devices.
With a 2MHz switching frequency, 100% duty cycle, and compact SOT23-5 and DFN packages, it enables small solution size and high integration for modern power designs.
