AD633 – Low-Cost Four-Quadrant Analog Multiplier
The AD633 is a complete four-quadrant multiplier IC available in low-cost 8-lead SOIC and PDIP packages. It is designed to be easy to use, requiring no external components or complex calibration. With its monolithic construction and laser-trimmed calibration, the AD633 provides high stability, reliability, and long-term accuracy.
The device features high input resistance (10 MΩ), minimizing loading effects on signal sources, and operates over a wide supply voltage range from ±8 V to ±18 V. Its internal scaling voltage reference is derived from a stable Zener diode, making the multiplier’s performance essentially independent of supply variations.
