AD620 – Low Power, High Accuracy Instrumentation Amplifier
The AD620 is a low-cost, high-accuracy instrumentation amplifier that requires only one external resistor to set gains from 1 to 10,000. Its compact 8-lead SOIC and DIP packaging reduces board space while offering low power consumption (only 1.3 mA max), making it ideal for portable and battery-powered applications.
With 40 ppm max nonlinearity, 50 μV max offset voltage, and 0.6 μV/°C offset drift, the AD620 delivers exceptional precision for data acquisition systems, medical instrumentation, and transducer interfaces.
The use of Superβeta processing enables ultra-low input bias current (1.0 nA max), ensuring superior performance in high-impedance sensor applications. In addition, its low noise (9 nV/√Hz at 1 kHz, 0.28 μV p-p from 0.1–10 Hz) and fast 15 μs settling time (to 0.01%) make it an excellent choice for multiplexed systems and preamplifier designs.
