The 2R3600L-8TH is an ultra-high-voltage Gas Discharge Tube (GDT) engineered for maximum surge protection in heavy-duty industrial, telecom, and power transmission systems. Designed in a compact 2RL-8TH ceramic SMD package, this device provides highly reliable over-voltage protection by safely diverting extreme transient surge energy away from sensitive electronic circuits. This GDT features a 3600V DC spark-over voltage (measured at 100V/µs), ensuring precise and stable breakdown performance in ultra-high-voltage applications. It also supports impulse spark-over capability at 1kV/µs, providing ultra-fast response against lightning strikes, switching surges, and high-energy electrical disturbances.
